The Women's Guild is a vibrant and essential part of our parish, known for their dedication to both charitable works and the well-being of our church community. Their annual craft and bake sale is a testament to their hard work and generosity, a cherished event that brings together the talents and spirit of our parishioners.
This beloved sale is more than just a fundraiser; it's a celebration of community and giving. The Guild's members pour their hearts into creating beautiful handcrafted items and delectable baked goods, all offered with warmth and hospitality. The proceeds from the sale directly support their charitable endeavors, allowing them to extend a helping hand to those in need within our community and beyond. Additionally, their efforts contribute significantly to the parish's financial stability, enabling us to maintain our facilities and continue our vital ministries. The Women's Guild's craft and bake sale is a beautiful example of how faith, fellowship, and service can come together to make a tangible difference.
Healing Blankets Ministry
A Healing Blanket provides great comfort and prayerful support
during difficult times. Each blanket is blessed before they are
made available. These sacramental blankets are given out to
support healing, if it’ is God’s will, to offer support through prayer,
and to offer comfort for the person in need or the family so they
know they are not alone. Blankets are provided at no cost and
made by the Ladies of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. We
encourage anyone in our parish who would like a blanket to
please take one! A booklet accompanies each blanket with
prayers for trying times. We have also put together a child’s
prayer book.
The Ministry was established 2013 by three women of our parish
and later adopted by the Women’s Guild of St. Paul the Apostle
Church. We are very pleased to have added more volunteers to
our blanket ministry; this will ensure this Ministry will go on.
Being a member of the Woman’s Guild is not necessary to help make healing blankets. Our sewers and helpers have done a great job keeping this Ministry alive and well.
